Hua Hin Regatta 2010

At the end of each year in July to gather for the annual sailing regatta Hua Hin, to test their skills on three days of competition. The coveted trophy, the Royal Trophy Vega Rudder of His Majesty the King, Super Mod National Championship trophy from His Majesty the King, OK Dinghy National Championship trophy from Her Majesty the Queen and Princess Cup for Optimist Championship of the late Princess Galyani Vadhana.

Hua Hin is sailing as the traditional home of the Thai community, as the HM King's great interest in the sport. A South East Asian Games winner in the category Sailing, built the HM King's own racing dinghy and helped establish the Super Mod class, he is also an enthusiastic promoter of sailing, which has resulted in this annual regatta that out in his honor the coast of Hua Hin in sight of the castle.
